HOME Welcome to Boston Manor Tennis Club (BMTC). The club is based in Boston Manor Park, TW8, and welcomes members of all standards. BMTC is associated with Friends of Boston Manor (www.fobm.org.uk), a non-profit organisation dedicated to the restoration and maintenance of Boston Manor Park and House. BMTC aims to provide a local tennis club open to all at affordable fees. Over the years the club has built up an enthusiastic group of players drawn from the local student and business community and is particularly popular with families. We welcome people of all ages, races and creed who enjoy the sport of tennis. BMTC is a non-profit making organisation; all funds raised are re-invested into the club and go towards the upgrade maintenance and improvement of the tennis facilities. The club’s annual membership fee is set at a very affordable level - £40 adults, £20.00 children, and £80 family (covering up to 2 adults and 3 children). This fee covers free use of the courts at any time, subject to availability and bookings The courts are also available to non members on a “Pay and Play” basis at a fee of £5 per court per hour. BMTC has three fully qualified tennis coaches, who provide excellent coaching to children and adults throughout the year. The coaches provide weekly group lessons, after school sessions, holiday camps altogether with individually tailored one-to-one sessions. The tennis courts were recently re-surfaced in 2008 as part of a joint project by FOBM and BMTC, and are in excellent condition. BMTC is continuously working to improving the tennis facilities at Boston Manor Park. If you want to join a vibrant part of the Boston Manor community, enjoy a fun environment and improve your level of Tennis or just play with friends or members contact us or fill the joining form. Our social activities will help you meet new members and build your own network of tennis players in the club. FACILITIES BMTC has 3 tennis courts, newly re-surfaced to LTA standards . They offer superb drainage, ensuring play can take place soon after the rain stops. The club is situated in the middle of the Boston Manor Park conservation area and as such is very secluded and offers perfect peace and tranquility for playing or watching tennis. The Pavilion café in the Park provides a wide range of drinks and food and toilet facilities. Members and visitors to the park have access to the Pavilion which is positioned close by opposite the children’s play area. Run by volunteers, the Pavilion aims to be open weekends and school holidays. Parking The park benefits from a car park situated 100 yards away from the courts. This is currently free to use, but it is anticipated to be metered by the end of 2011.
